Gratitude jar with a twist

Hi Everyone! I'm trying out this gratetude jar idea, with a twist. So every week I will be adding a dollar amount to this jar along with a note where I will write one thing I was grateful for that week. I love this idea because it gives me a moment to be grateful and reflect on the good during that week instead of the negative. I also like that I will be saving at the same time. I liked this challenge because it is atainable. I am going to try and chose a day during the week to do this in order to create a pattern, making it easier for this to be accomplished.  For those asking for details, the dollar amount depends on the week number, for example week 1-1 dollar, week 2-2 dollars, week 26-26 dollars, etc.
I thought I'd share this since I really liked this idea and thought it would be fun to share with others.

Coffee and cats, please.

Hey guys! Soooo I wanted to take the time and tell you about my visit to Crumbs and Whiskers. Crumbs and Whiskers in essence a cat adoption center/coffee shop, HOW GREAT IS THAT?!?!? So a little background about what they do: they rescue cats from shelters in order to avoid them getting put down. To learn more click here.

I was absolutely in love with the idea. I am a HUGE animal lover and unfortunately can't have animals where I live, and it just wouldn't be fair for an animal because I'm not home a lot of the time. So when I heard about Crumbs and Whiskers I was so excited to go. It's always nice to go with the intention of adopting BUT if you're like me and just want to go play with cats while drinking coffee or tea, then I suggest you make your reservation. Reservations are required because of the amount of traffic they get. There is a fee of 22 dollars but it is totally worth it, not only are you going to have a good time petting these adorable cats but you're also helping save these cats lives.

Distressed But Comfortable

Photography by Kevin M.

This took so long to post BUT I finally got it up. This is a simple, comfi look for days when I have errends to run. Recently I've been buying a lot of men's tees. Relaxed and comfortable clothes are my jam when it comes to my busy days or when I know I'm going to have a long or busy day. This tee is a men's tee, would you have ever known? I saw it from a far and instantly loved the color, I've also been loving nude colors. I love the fact that it had the distressed effect with the holes and that it was long enough to wear as a dress. Before I found this tee I had been looking for a knee long tee to wear with sneakers and thought this was perfect. When I buy men's tees they tend to look weird on the sleeves so I fold them two to three times and wah la! Hope you love this look as much as I do.
